So Glad I Decided To Get This

After reading several reviews warning about buying any kind of xbox 360 slim hard drives from anyone but microsoft, I was a little concerned about getting this, but this hard drive didn't have any negative comments that concerned me, so I decided to chance it. (I don't have any regular xbox games, so I don't know about not being able to play them with this.) I'm glad I did. I received it fairly quickly and after looking up online how to install it (it was a lot easier than I expected it to be; with it lying flat, there's a little hidden door on the right side of the console for the hard drive; if it's standing up, the door would be on the top or the bottom.) I put it in, and started up my xbox 360 and it worked great. I've transferred saved games, profiles, and dlc onto it with no problems, and I've downloaded new updates and dlc onto it since then as well. So far, it's worked perfectly for me. I was even sent information about the website for the seller I got this from (jacobsparts), and they have some of the same products, for less. I will definitely use this seller again if I need anything they sell. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hard drive.

The absolute best upgrade for the 4GB Xbox 360 slim! For a whole lot less than Microsoft's 250Gb hard drive and does exactly the same thing! It even says Microsoft when you are looking at your memory. Yeah you can't play the old xbox games, but you can go on ebay and get an old xbox for 20 bucks .

Excellent value!

I ordered this product in October 2011 to replace my 120GB MS Hard Drive and have been using it ever since. I was slightly skeptical ordering a none MS product - and one that had so few reviews at the time as well! But of the few things that were written about it by consumers, most of that was positive. For the rather substantial price savings, I had to try. Besides, Amazon has great return policies!But have I had to return it? Heck no! I transferred all transferable data (game saves and tons of XBLA games) to the new drive from my old one and then installed around 10 XBOX 360 games onto it and still had around 83GB available. I play almost every day on my XBOX 360 and have really been putting this drive through the paces by playing lots of MW3 multiplayer and lots of Skyrim! I've also downloaded tons of game trailer videos and even an 8GB HD movie rental. This generic 250GB Hard Drive for the XBOX 360 is holding up without batting an eye! In fact, if I hadn't seen a reminder to do a review on this product, I would've forgotten that I even have it. It has been that reliable since installing it.If you have been on the fence or are skeptical about buying a none MS product for such a serious application like I was, all I can tell you is that I am totally glad I took the plunge and got this and would do it again!Hope this helps!NOTE: I just realized that when I ordered this product, it was around 40 bucks lower in price. Try to wait a bit to see if the price drops if you can. Otherwise, even at this price, it is a solid product!

Cheap Xbox hard drive, for the WIN!

We got our hard drive and installed it on the XBOX 360 with out any issues. Since this XBOX had no saved games on it, we did not have to do a data transfer. Easy peasey. If you have had your XBOX for a while, you will likely wand to pick up the data transfer cable; Other than that, it is a tool-less install. This drive has been running in for several months now and has not had issues.

Desperately needed a new, larger hard drive for my original Xbox 360, but did not quite have the funds for the Microsoft Brand versions. Took a gamble on the cheap generic 'made in China' version, and still working like a dream 2 weeks in! Always scary buying 3rd party peripherals, there's always a higher chance of defective or straight up broken products, but I am very pleased with this purchase!

Worth the money...

This book is a good one just because of the fact that the whole 5 games on EA's Orange Box don't come with a real instruction booklet; only a 5 page summary per game, and that's it... Just for that, it's worth the money to get this one.The only thing missing is a reasonable explanation of the weird points/ranking system for Team Fortress 2, in PS3. I've been trying to understand how it works, already for a few weeks now, with no luck at all... and it seems that nobody is able to explain it throughout the internet.4/5 because of the TF2 points system madness, not explained at all.

Well I just wasted $23 bucks.

This game is for kids in preschool, and I don't think that even they will like it. This game has 101 games of pure crap. I played it less than an hour and after that, I knew I'd been had. I like the idea to try and compact several games into one system but, man... whats the point if they all suck? ... 101 games and you'd think that you'd find at lest one of them you'd like. You know games like; Mario, Pong, or somethin' along those lines. Instead they put in a game that is obviously a ripoff of battleship except that its called "submarine war", it's just like battleship except there all submarines, oh and the CPU launches 4 bombs at a time while you stuck with one, and no you can't urn them either, the sound is repetitive to the point where you put it on mute. Another one called "wondering bunny" where the background is strait off of Mario 2, and the bunny looks like Yoshi, and no to don't eat, you just spit fire. I can go on and on, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.The company is called "dreamGear", well you'd think that they'd dream up some better names for these poor games that rip'd from, or better games at all.

my dog had chewed my thumbstick on my dualshock 3 PS3 controller, and I looked all over the internet for replacement parts and I felt kinda wierd buying them on Ebay since you know they are third party made, so I came onto Amazon hoping I can find them from a trusted seller, and this is what i found, took me 5 minutes to replace them with the new ones, I recommend this to everyone who needs to replace the thumbstick, it's very simple to switch the old for the new. you get 2 in a pack I got mine all the way from florida in a couple days, I recommend this to everyone looking to save some money, WAY better then buying a whole new controller.

Decent pair of replacements, or maybe not

You get two in a pack, I needed one to replace an analog stick in a DS3 that had the rubber pealing away. It's nice to have a spare now.It only took a few minutes to install, having done no research or taken a DS3 apart before. But over an hour putting the darn thing back together. The problem I was having was as I'd put the case back together, one of the rear pair of buttons would spring up and out. After a lot of huffing and puffing, and almost throwing the controller out, I finally got it to clip nicely together.Had the rear buttons been in a less excitable mood, this would have been a 6 or 7 minute job, and with a little experience, 2 or 3.There appears to be various versions of the DS3 internals, particularly how the battery sits inside the unit. Mine is pretty old, it has the small black battery, rather than the bigger grey one. If you have one like mine and didn't pay attention to how it sits inside, you fit the white/cream plastic cage to the white plastic strips on the board, and the battery sits snuggly on top of both, i.e. no battery sandwich. If the battery is moving around, don't try to put the controller back together, something is wrong. Good luck! If you get stuck, youtube has several assembly vids.Although purchased from Amazon, it was fulfilled by Brambhai Mods, who managed to get it to me the follow day, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm sure there were reviews for this product when I ordered, but as of today, there are none.UPDATE: After using this for around 3 months I'm dropping the 5 stars down to 2. The problem is the replacements tend to stick, which as you can imagine makes for frustrating game play.The dome part of the thumbstick that acts as a cover for the controller is far too close to the controller casing, especially when compared to the original thumbsticks. In the end I got so fed up, I butchered an old six-axis to pinch a thumbstick for the DS3. It was either that or try to shave off some of the edge of the controller itself. The problem appears to be the depth of the mounting hole not being as deep as the originals, an extra 1mm would make all the difference. I thought they'd soon bed in and this wouldn't be an issue, but 3 months of regular play suggests otherwise.

More PS2 than PS3

These joysticks came in today, and i wondered why shipping took so long (about a week and a half) but it seems it was being shipped from Hong Kong or something so its completely understandable. I purchased these to replace my old PS3 controller joysticks and let me just say these are a great fit but as people will notice these seem a little bigger than the actual PS3 joysticks but don't in any feel that way...so the verdict : Good choice for a replacement.

Unlike the more expensive, 3-foot optical audio cables I returned to my local Fry's Electronics Store in southern CA, these 6-foot optical audio cables fit my equipments' optical receptacles solidly and remain connected with no sense of looseness. The finger-shank mounted at each end swivels and helps proper seating of the cable in both devices. The outer shield of the cable is attractive and substantial. The protective cover-sheaths at each end are attached to the cable and can't be misplaced. The price is right and the quality is outstanding. Audio performance is superior. If Free Super Saver Shipping were available, I would have purchased several more of these cables. As it is, the shipping cost exceeds the cost of the cable. Still, I am pleased with my purchase.

Does not work with Samsung Galaxy S

The android driver that comes with this is outdated and does not work. After some searching, the driver comes from teksoftco.com and can be updated to version 1.7. But, according to thier website forums, this keyboard can not be connected to because the keyboard vendors bluetooth license was expired. They suggest contacting keyboard manufacturer (Chinavasion). They do not have a work-around as this error comes from the Google APIs.So, it look like I'll be sending mine back!

This is what I figured out

This may be way too much information. There are probably a dozen mini wireless keyboards that look exactly like this and sell for from $8 to $40 on Amazon and in stores. My guess is they are all the same, but I may be wrong. The one I received came with very limited instructions that are worthless. On the package it said it connects to Android devices - in the instructions it stated it only connects to one Samsung model. At first I couldn't get it to connect to my Android phone (Motorola Bionic).I found a video on the internet and it gave me this idea. The device is discoverable and the smartphone asks for a code from the device. I don't believe there is a preset code coming from the device (like the common 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1). While it was trying to pair, I typed 1,2,3,4 in the keyboard and then 1,2,3,4 in the phone and it paired. I think this keyboard will probably connect to most Android 2.2 or 2.3 smartphones. The question is, Is it worth the effort?I hated the hard touch and size of the keys. After a couple of weeks of going back and forth to it, it has grown on me. Some of the keys don't do what you'd expect. For example, normally you can tab from one field to another in email. With this keyboard you have to use the down arrow key. At first I would have given this a zero - now I am happy enough to give it a 4.No matter what you pay for this it is probably too much. I have no doubts the packaging costs way more than the keyboard. I dropped my keyboard on the floor and it came apart. It's made of a circuit board with keys, a stamped piece of rubber for the keypad, and two pieces of plastic. The good news is, I put it back together, and surprisingly, it still works. Don't try this at home. Results mat vary.

This is one of the worst products I've used. It worked for a minute and loses the bluetooth connection, and even trying to connect in itself is extremely frustrating. Do not waste your time even trying out this product. This is a cheaply made and quality is very very very bad. Do not buy and save yourself some time.
